The Logical Solution - KVM Extension

Industry standard DVI video formats up to 330MHz are supported over multi-mode fiber. The EVS 8 Plus Extender supports one Dual-Link DVI signal. Any resolution which fits into the 330MHz bandwidth will be flawlessly transported from end to end. The EVS 8 Plus harnesses advanced fiber optic technology, which means that image quality is not compromised with problems such as frame-dropping or content loss. The standard EVS 8 Plus is comprised of a four port USB 1.1 hub which allows for direct connection of up to four devices at the receiver end.

MRTS Technology 6.25 Gbps. Allows for Full Frame Rate Transmission of uncompressed DVI

Powered by Thinklogical's cutting edge, patent-pending MRTS (Multi Rate Transmission System) technology, this KVM extension system transports every frame of a DVI video stream seamlessly, with no compression, or dropped frames. In
addition, all high speed peripherals function with no latency.

Additional Options

The USB 2.0 Option (Model U) offers transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. This option supports USB 2.0 devices and enables the user to connect multiple devices (such as keyboard, CDROM, Memory Stick, etc.) to a computer.

The Firewire 800 Option (Model F) is a high-speed, plug and play peripheral interface that supports data transfer rates up to 800 Mbps. FireWire enables the user to connect to external highspeed devices (such as hard disk drives, DVD drives, etc).

The USB 2.0 and Firewire 800 models require 2 additional fibers.

The USB 1.0 Human Interface Devices (HID) Option (Model H) is designed for security conscious customers. This option supports USB 1.0 and human interface devices only (such as keyboard, mouse, tablets, and touchscreens). All models are available with SC, ST, or LC type fiber connectors.
