Thinklogical delivers new GUI, PDU, and CardBus features for its enhanced Secure Console Server
New Secure Console Server features enhancements such as browser based GUI for quick “out of the box” setup and deployment and integration with Thinklogical's new Power Distribution Unit.
Thinklogical, a leading provider of console management solutions, today announced new features and functionality to its Secure Console Server line of products. The Secure Console Server allows users to perform secure remote data center management and out-of-band management of IT assets from anywhere in the world. With the Secure Console Server graphic user interface (GUI) and power distribution unit (PDU) enhancement, Thinklogical further demonstrates its commitment to systems and data center management.
The purpose of the GUI, PDU and CardBus is to streamline and simplify systems administration and server management. The feature-rich custom GUI (browser based) enables users to configure, monitor and manage servers and network devices, with options such as authentication, logs, and the ability to view/import/export server configurations. The Secure Console Server easily integrates with Thinklogical’s new PDU 4/4, allowing for remote power management. Thus, enabling users to power cycle, hard boot, and control power to individual servers. In addition, a 32-bit CardBus PC Card slot has been integrated into the interface for enhanced operating features such as modem access.
